ViBella began in 2011 when Julie Hulstein visited Haiti on a mission trip. She says, “My heart was broken wide open for families living in extreme poverty in Haiti. The stories of those I met were beautiful in spite of their desperate living conditions and I felt drawn to be part of their lives by providing steady work that would assure food, shelter, and education to families in communities where jobs were so scarce.” So, she create ViBella to offer employment for those who were struggling to provide for their families.
I was first introduced to ViBella during the first Five Minute Friday Retreat in Nashville, TN. Amy Breitmann and Kay Simpson gave a wonderful presentation of the company and their mission. I fell in love with their products and the ViBella story.
