Five Minute Friday (on Sunday)

safe-600x600

Safe in his arms.  I feel that way when I am with my husband.  Deep down in my heart, I know he will take care of me.  I know he will fight tooth and nail to protect me and our boys.  There’s no doubt in my mind. No matter what we’ve gone through in our 26 years together, he’s always proven his devotion to our family…..working hard, providing for us, making the best decisions for us, giving us comfort and encouragement.

Safe in His arms.  My heavenly father.  I know, deep down in my heart, I know that I am safe in his arms.  I know this world is not perfect, but I also know that God will lead me, guide me, and protect me.

Safe in His arms.  That’s my prayer for my family. That God would wrap his loving arms around us, whether we are home or abroad, that he would keep us safe from those that wish to harm us.

Evil is all around. The news flaunts it.  Social media seems to thrive off of it.  But we can be safe in His arms.  We can ask God to walk with us. He will do better than that.  God will walk before us, clearing the path.  He will walk beside us, encouraging us to keep going.  He will walk behind us, showing us that with Him, we can do anything.

Safe in His arms……that’s where I want to be.

Thank you so much for joining me for Five Minute Friday, even though it is Sunday.  Last week’s prompt was “breathe,” which would be more appropriate in the next week or so.  Life is busy, so I fit in writing when I can.

Hi! What a lovely reminder that there are different expressions of safety in our lives… which ultimately lead us to “Safe in His arms.” It’s so true. I’m so glad I stopped by. Have a great week!
